Ancestry Visa Experts

Under the UK Ancestry visa, Commonwealth and British Overseas citizens with a grandparent born in the UK (or the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man) can come to the UK to live, work and study.

Once a person is granted the visa, holders are able to stay in the UK for an initial period of 5 years. After this period, ancestry visa holders can apply then apply for indefinite leave to remain.

As well as being able to live, work, and study in the UK, holders are also able to bring their dependent family members to the UK with them.
